Our History
Founded in 2012 Truffle Trees Direct are a small, dedicated tree nursery located in Lincolnshire, growing native trees from English provenance seeds, harvested from our own ancient trees, we specialise in inoculating, seed grown saplings with the Autumn truffle spore. (Tuber uncinatum)
From seedling to Orchard, we grow, Inoculate and hold on stock our trees, allowing us to nurture the sapling over several seasons, this ensures we are providing the client with a mature, healthy, root system capable of producing truffles, we also batch test our trees to ensure they are hosting mycorrhizae, thus giving our client the best possible chance of producing truffles. We also mix our own essential ingredient compost and have developed an organic old-fashioned fertiliser with a modern twist which greatly benefits our trees.
